Job Summary

The role of Electrical Estimator is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual with expertise in architectural and electrical projects to utilize their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using industry-leading software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Review and interpret complex architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify key elements.
  • Quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel, showcasing strong analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects, with a focus on electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • Experience in identifying and quantifying lighting fixtures and controls, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
