Job Overview

The IKB Writer is responsible for the governance of a knowledge base, including its overall health and best practices.

The IKB Writer encourages correct and widespread usage of the IKB, creates guidelines for what information is captured and by whom, and how to keep it from growing stale.

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a seasoned technical writer who is passionate about breaking complex processes down into easy-to-follow steps.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in content writing.
    • Experience independently creating engaging online articles, guides and user support content.
    • Proficiency in writing and graphics tools and apps, including online platforms.
    • Deep understanding of applying formatting to make important points stand out.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions.
    • Ability to learn new knowledge and skills quickly, a penchant for self-development.
    • Ability to work effectively with all team members and stakeholders.
    • Aligned with core values of respect, integrity, transparency and excellence.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience with a knowledgebase as a writer and administrator.
    • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization.
    • Experience creating video tutorials.
    • Leadership experience.
    • Functional understanding of adult learning principles.
