Job Overview

The Property Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring the financial accuracy of specific properties.

Key areas of focus include recording business transactions, updating accounts receivable and payable, and preparing financial reports.

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all business transactions.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices to clients.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and update financial data in databases.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
  • Review and analyze expenses, payroll records, and other financial data as assigned.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on property performance and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare monthly/yearly closings and assist with other accounting projects.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
