Strategic Business Services Leader

Habitat for Humanity International seeks an accomplished Strategic Business Services Leader to spearhead business services across the Asia-Pacific region. This role provides visionary leadership, support, and guidance in systems, policies, and procedures to ensure seamless support across functions.



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the business services unit and across the regional network.
  • Support global and regional strategies, planning processes, and data management for Habitat's work.
  • Ensure National Office Directors have access to necessary data and information for their strategies and organizational planning processes.
  • Actively engage with the regional network for effective implementation of regional strategy.
  • Coordinate reports to meet HFHI standards, donor expectations, and local laws.
  • Oversee relevant functions for proper planning, monitoring, and analysis of financial and other data.
  • Lead on strategic business services provision across the network and achieve organizational goals.
  • Align business services capabilities with programmatic goals of the regional strategy.
  • Liaise between National Offices, Area Offices, and global teams to achieve Habitat's growth goals.
  • Support collaboration with HFHI's global teams, including Legal, Governance, Risk Management & Compliance, and Grant Compliance and Donor Reporting.
  • Provide leadership and stewardship that supports HFHI's Christian faith and values.


Position Duties
  • Project Unify and Regional Strategic Framework Plan Realization (50%):
    • Hold direct teams and administrative functions to account on delivery of AO strategic framework
    • Liaise with global teams on strategic enhancement of business services functions
    • Provide support to regional network in Project Unify implementation and hold teams to account in delivery of strategies
    • Ensure review, control, analysis, and monitoring of budgets, data, and planning processes for informed decision-making
    • Support AO and regional network realignment and resourcing processes, including budget planning, analysis, and monitoring of income and expenses

  • Lead on alignment of support structures, processes, and functions (15%)
  • Advise on organizational effectiveness for regional network, including finance, HR, and IT (15%)
  • Manage contracts and collaborations with external partners, such as operations consultants and legal advisors (5%)
  • Special Projects in support of AO VP, including thought leadership efforts relating to internal and external stakeholders (15%)
