Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to oversee the entire bid process from preparation to award. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating bid review and clarificatory meetings, as well as preparing and issuing bid bulletins.

About the Role

The Bid Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure input and address concerns/issues. They will also prepare and issue recommendation to award (RTA) and monitor and track all bid contract exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare necessary bid documents (technical and financial)
  • Send bid invitations to bidders
  • Conduct pre-bid meetings and issue Certificate of Site Inspection
  • Evaluate bid both for technical and financial and review fairness of bid quantities
  • Compare rates to set standards and previously awarded contracts
  • Perform build-up Unit Rates and Knowledgeable in Productivity Rate
  • Review compliance of products and services to technical specifications and approved Terms of Reference (Scope of Works)
  • Prepare presentation materials/reports to the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC)
  • Coordinate and facilitate bid review and clarificatory meetings
  • Ensure key stakeholders provide input and address concerns/issues
  • Prepare and Issue Bid Bulletins
  • Prepare and Issue Recommendation to Award (RTA)
  • Monitor and track all Bid Contract Exposure

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should have knowledge of industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in bid management.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with regular working hours.
