Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity

Remote work available for a skilled Electrical Estimator to perform takeoffs and cost estimates for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and cost estimates using software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.

They will review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls.

The successful candidate will prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel and collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects is necessary.
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
