Accounting Manager

Bonavita Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing financial guidance and support to our management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure internal controls and accounting processes are up to standard requirements, including documentation, critical review, and implementation of improved practices.
  • Address financial issues and concerns of the accounting department, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist and work closely with the Administrative Department to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Document all accounting procedures, review, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare financial statements for external reporting and BIR compliance.
  • Prepare income tax returns and monthly profit or loss analytics for submission to management and audit.
  • Review tax returns and BIR Form 2307 for accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and motivate the accounting team towards achieving Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).
  • Coordinate with departments regarding bank requirements and reviews transactions and journal entries.
  • Provide reports on actual versus budget for each department using revolving fund.
  • Manage the accounting department and its subordinates in Bonavita and its sister companies.
  • Provide necessary accounting trainings to team members.
  • Ensure BIR compliance and prepare the accounting department for surprise inspections or audits.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Business, or related course.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • CPA is an advantage but not required.
