Accounting Manager

PARK SECURE MANAGEMENT CORP. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and approve financial processing, reporting, and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise staff accountants and clerical staff to ensure the department achieves accounting objectives.
- Develop and maintain sales and margin reporting to inform business decisions.
- Contribute to strategic plans and reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide accounting department annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, and identifying variances.
- Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances, cash requirements, and resource planning.
- Approve cash disbursements, ledger entries, and business insurance renewals.
- Support annual audits by providing information and answering auditors' questions.
- Report savings by distributing and explaining quarterly election forms.
- Verify employee benefit invoices and protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional publications.
- Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries, document financial transactions, and recommend financial actions.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and maintaining accounting controls.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and securing financial information by completing database backups and following internal controls.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements, and answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed action.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and analyzing trends.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
