Lead Application Architect

The successful candidate will oversee the development of a comprehensive application architecture strategy, establishing architectural frameworks and standards. They will act as the technical leader for common domains, identifying shared requirements and developing foundational systems that support business operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a long-term application architecture roadmap.
  • Establish architectural frameworks and standards.

Technology Expertise:
  • Making high-level decisions on technology stacks and design approaches.
  • Evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to maintain technical excellence.
  • Governing and overseeing architecture review processes and lifecycle standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partnering with executives, engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Communicating technology strategies across stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Mentoring and guiding the architecture team.
  • Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Aligning team resources with organizational priorities and key projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture; 5+ years in leadership role.
  • Expertise in enterprise-scale application design and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure; AWS/GCP a plus).
  • TOGAF or similar certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in system integration, API design, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and digital transformation practices.
