Technical Drafter

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented technical drafter with experience in furniture production? We're looking for someone to join our team as a Technical Drafter.

As a Technical Drafter, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings that guide the fabrication and assembly of custom furniture products. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure that all technical documentation meets both aesthetic and functional standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
    • Translate design concepts and sketches into fully dimensioned production-ready technical documents
    • Prepare exploded views, assembly instructions, and component lists to support fabrication and installation processes
  • Requirements:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in technical drafting, specifically in the furniture manufacturing or millwork industry preferred
    • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, materials, and hardware used in furniture production
    • Familiarity with CNC production workflows, material optimization, and lean manufacturing principles is a plus
