Custom Furniture Designer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Custom Furniture Designer to work with us at Remote.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in producing detailed, accurate technical drawings and be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects, collaborating with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications, preparing accurate shop drawings and construction details, modifying and adjusting drawings based on feedback and production requirements, and ensuring all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.

  • Create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp software (required)
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings
