Job Summary

We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to manage the administration and compliance of Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) benefits for employees.

  • Administer CPP and EI benefits, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate enrollment process for CPP and EI benefits.
  • Calculate and deduct CPP and EI contributions from employee wages.
  • Ensure accurate remittance of CPP and EI contributions.
  • Stay informed about updates and changes to CPP and EI regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or related roles, with knowledge of CPP and EI regulations and processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of CPP and EI benefits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of benefit information.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure seamless integration of benefits with other employee benefits programs.
  • Participate in benefits-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of CPP and EI regulations and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
