Technical Project Manager Job Description

The role of a Technical Project Manager is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams and overseeing end-to-end IoT or software projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and actively contribute to the full development lifecycle of ESP32-based solutions.
  • Firmware Development: Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware using C and C++ tailored for performance and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Define technical specifications, project scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to documentation standards, version control practices, and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience developing with ESP32 microcontrollers or equivalent embedded hardware platforms.
  • Strong expertise in C and C++ programming for firmware, with a focus on efficiency and reliability in embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for device interfacing.
  • Familiarity with RTOS, multitasking, and resource-constrained environments in embedded systems development.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams and delivering end-to-end IoT or software projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging tools, and modern development environments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve technical challenges.
