Job Summary

The Senior Accounting role is a key position in our organization, requiring strong accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

This is a full-time role with a US shift and work-from-home setup. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial data.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Management
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
    • Review vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings.
    • Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
    • Recommend financial actions based on financial analysis and projections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in senior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
