The Contract Administrator role is primarily responsible for the review and analysis of contract documents, classification of contracts based on defined attributes, and entry of contract information into a centralized contract management system.
Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts contained in multiple archives and databases, identifying relevant contract and metadata information, classifying contracts based on type and content, determining in-force/active contracts by validating against revenue numbers, entering and updating contract information in the contract management system, assisting in cross-training new Contracts Administrators on project requirements, and working collaboratively with Contracts Administrators to resolve questions and address project needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications">- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with software and technology contracts, preferably as a contracts administrator, legal assistant, or billing administrator with high visibility to contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear business solutions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of finance and related activities, including revenue validation and contract management
- Possess critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and creative approach
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, IT, Sales, and Customer Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
