Front-end WordPress Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on user interface projects for our website. As a front-end WordPress developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and functional UI components that meet the needs of our users.

  • You will have the chance to build high-quality web applications using modern technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Your duties will include transforming app designs into reusable code, integrating UI components with APIs and databases, and gathering specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
  • Other responsibilities will include debugging errors, performing routine performance optimizations, managing SEO, writing high-quality code, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, and more.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 4+ years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should also have a solid understanding of HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA, as well as experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or Less.

  • You should also have expertise in ACF and Gutenberg, basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager, and working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack is also a plus.
  • In addition, you should have experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, responsive web design, and W3C standards.

What sets the best apart:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Invision is also beneficial.
  • Experience with other tools and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot can also be advantageous.

This is a remote job, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
