Job Role

This role involves traveling to different locations across the country, efficiently removing deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers to restore, improve, and maintain their optimal operating performance.

As a skilled professional in this field, you will need to mobilize at short notice to travel and perform work in various facilities. The company provides airfare, lodging, and daily per diem for your convenience.

The responsibilities of this role include manually cleaning condenser and heat exchange tubes using a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners, reading pressure gauges to identify changes in pressure, lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., inventorying trailers to ensure job readiness, performing preventive maintenance on all service equipment, setting up support equipment as needed, and adhering to strict safety protocols outlined in the company's policy manual.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is essential.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) clearance.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
Work Environment

The work environment can be challenging, involving remote or industrial locations such as oil rigs, refineries, or industrial plants. Employees may be exposed to loud noise, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials. Safety is paramount, with rigorous training protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided to mitigate risks. The role may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold. Extended shifts and rotational schedules are common, but employees will spend time traveling between job sites.
