The Service Desk Training Specialist plays a key role in developing, preparing, delivering and facilitating training programs at the Service Desk Center Level. This specialist is responsible for measuring and evaluating training programs conducted, providing coaching and feedback to trainees, initiating, designing, and implementing training interventions.
\Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills of service desk agents.
- Providing coaching and feedback to trainees on performance-related opportunities.
- Designing training programs and developing or overseeing the production of training handouts, instructional materials, assessments and manuals.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to design initiatives.
- Assessing training effectiveness and efficiency to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior.
The ideal candidate will have experience in training and development, preferably in a contact center or call center environment. They should possess excellent organizational skills, good interpersonal communication skills, and be detail-oriented. A positive attitude, flexibility, and customer focus are essential qualities for this role.
\Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, certification in Instructional Design and Development, and strong knowledge of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE Model, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation.

- Experience in training and development in a contact center or call center environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently.
