Job Title: Jewelry Production Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and production process of fine or fashion jewelry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring quality control and timely order fulfillment
  • Manage production schedules, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life
  • SOURCE AND MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS WITH MATERIAL SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS (CASTING, POLISHING, PLATING, ETC.)
  • MaintAIN DETAILED PRODUCTION DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines
  • IMPLEMENT AND ENFORCE QUALITY CONTROL STANDARDS ACROSS ALL STAGES OF PRODUCTION
  • FORECAST INVENTORY NEEDS AND ENSURE ALL NECESSARY MATERIALS (METALS, STONES, FINDINGS) ARE PROCURED ON TIME
  • TRUBLESHOOT PRODUCTION ISSUES, MINIMIZE DELAYS, AND OPTIMIZE EFFICIENCY AND COST
  • COLLABORATE WITH SALES, MERCHANDISING, AND LOGISTICS TEAMS TO ALIGN PRODUCTION WITH CUSTOMER DEMAND AND SEASONAL LAUNCHES
Qualifications:
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE (3+ YEARS) IN JEWELRY PRODUCTION OR MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT
  • STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF JEWELRY MATERIALS, PROCESSES (CASTING, STONE SETTING, POLISHING), AND SUPPLY CHAIN
  • FAMILIAR WITH CAD/CAM AND JEWELRY DESIGN SOFTWARE
  • STRONG VENDOR AND SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
  • DETAIL-ORIENTED WITH A PASSION FOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND QUALITY
  • EXPERIENCE COMMUNICATING WITH THE FACTORY
  • UNDERSTANDING HOW TO READ A CAD
  • KNOWLEDGE IN DIAMONDS
