Quality Coordinator Job Description

This position is a key role in the implementation of daily Database Management of the Audit Checklists, ICAR/NCR & CAPs for the program utilizing V2X applications (EVA/VARMS). Under general guidance and direction from the Quality Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the audit and corrective action database (s), VARMS/EVA.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the audit and corrective action database (s), VARMS/EVA.
  • Assist process owners in maintaining compliance with milestones and scheduled actions for audits and corrective actions. (Performance reports, scheduling activities, Power BI KPI reports)
  • Assists process owners in the development and deployment of processes for the purpose of encouraging process improvement initiatives.
  • Assists operational areas in documenting processes, desk top guides, and in identifying and managing all quality records in accordance with all program requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a host nation Driver's License, is required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of Operations experience. One (1) to three (3) years of Quality experience preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, & Maximo. Ability to work with very diverse workforce.
  • Must possess logical and critical thinking skills to quickly and effectively apply Quality Practices.
  • Develops document control and process development for the program.
  • Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Works in a general office environment.
  • Duties will involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and high temperatures – up to 120 degrees in the summer months.
  • Potential exposure to chemical or biological agents could exist.
  • Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work will require lifting up to 25 lbs. stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules.
