Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance professional with deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs.
  • Apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling and testing.
  • Database data analysis for deeper issue investigation.
  • API testing and logs analysis, server issue debugging.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers and test case management tools.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems.
