Role Summary
This role oversees the Merchandising Department, ensuring optimal store stock levels through research, trend analysis, merchandise selection, and purchasing decision management. The successful candidate will develop and execute category strategies to maximize sales and profitability, analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity, and implement visual merchandising standards to enhance the in-store and online shopping experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, markdowns, and promotions to optimize sell-through.
  • Work closely with the buying, marketing, and store operations teams to align merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, turnover, and stock levels.

Requirements
2+ years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, or Buying within the retail industry. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis tools, excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, strong leadership and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
