The Role

This position plays a key role in curating and sourcing luxury pre-owned items that align with our procurement strategy. You will ensure that buying decisions align with market trends, inventory needs, and recommendations while following operational standards to maximize sales potential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Select products from B2B and B2C suppliers, ensuring items meet the company's buying directions, sales demand, and are competitive in pricing while maintaining strong profit margins.

  2. Provide base selling prices for selected items and relevant product attributes.

  3. Nurture supplier relationships, negotiating costs to secure the best deals while maintaining quality and operational standards.

  4. Provide insights on supplier performance and stock movement, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring buying processes meet efficiency goals.

  5. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  1. You have 2+ years of experience as a buyer, merchandising, or procurement in the fashion/retail industry, preferably with a strong background in luxury goods or accessories.

  2. Strong understanding of luxury brands, trends, and the second-hand market, with a passion for fashion and sustainability.

  3. Data-driven mindset to support buying decisions.

  4. A strong negotiator with experience in maintaining relationships with suppliers.

  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing industry trends and business needs.

  6. Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

  7. A degree in Fashion, Business, Marketing, or a related field, with excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) - other languages is a plus.
