Auditory Asset Developer

Role Description

As a skilled auditory asset developer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality audio assets for games, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on creative audio direction and ensure approvals across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate the production, delivery, and organization of all audio assets, including managing schedules and feedback cycles for external composers and sound designers.
  • Deliver finalized audio assets along with clear implementation instructions and provide support to ensure proper in-game integration; maintain thorough design documentation.
  • Partner with designers, animators, artists, and mathematicians to craft engaging user experiences through sound, music, and voiceover.
  • Assist in editing, mixing, and processing audio for games, prototypes, and promotional content; contribute to internal best practice guides and audio tool documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You should possess:

  • Proficiency in audio editing, processing, mixing, mastering, and sound design.
  • Strong understanding of sound design principles, music theory, and composition.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects, deadlines, and audio assets using project management tools and organized workflows.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to ensure consistency and quality of audio assets across projects.
