Job Description:

Become a part of our software quality assurance team as a Junior Automation Engineer. In this role, you will assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using standard automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Typescript, etc.).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate software solutions into the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Work with the Test Architect to design and implement the Automation framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and manual test engineers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like scrum meetings, sprint planning, and project retrospectives, and provide feedback. Execute end-to-end test scenarios manually as needed.

Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:


  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA automation or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
  • Willingness to learn and work with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Jmeter, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to support US hours meetings.
  • Experience in Agile Development.
