Financial Portfolio Specialist

The Property Accountant will manage daily accounting tasks and be accountable for the financial accuracy of properties. Ensuring their portfolio is audit-and report-ready, with accounts current, reconciled, and transparent requires strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Process all business transactions through journal entries.
- Update accounts receivable and issue accurate invoices.
- Perform account payable updates and reconciliation checks.
- Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports according to guidelines.
- Review expenses, payroll records, and update financial data in databases.
- Prepare regular reports and assist senior accountants in monthly/yearly closings.
- Conduct annual CAM, tax, and insurance assessments and prepare tenant packages.
- Provide vendor support and complete quarterly property snapshots.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience as a US Accountant.
- Excellent organizational abilities and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Yardi software are beneficial.
