Accounting Assistant Role Overview

This is a remote position that requires collaboration with an accounting team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial data related to investments and private equity portfolios, as well as maintaining accurate financial records across multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks using NetSuite software
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations and validations
  • Assist with various administrative tasks within the accounting department
  • Support financial record-keeping for real estate and private equity portfolios
  • Collaborate with a Houston-based team to streamline accounting processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in real estate accounting; familiarity with Rent Manager or Yardi preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles with a willingness to learn more
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn NetSuite and RAM Manager
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected with the team
Working Arrangements

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Remote setup with collaboration with the Houston-based accounting team
