At Sinch, we have automated security and compliance mechanisms, but human verification is still necessary.This role works alongside other security measures to ensure our customers can use their accounts fully and help keep our platform free of bad actors.We must meet compliance regulations at all times. The RoleYou will become highly skilled in spotting non-compliant messaging and bad actors who try to send fraudulent message content.This role is part of our Compliance & Monitoring team, working closely with specialists across multiple teams in the company and our Customer Support team.The main responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring live message content for customers, looking for possible fraud, spam, and phishing content
  • Detecting and reporting fraudulent activity and taking appropriate actions to block accounts
  • Staying up-to-date on new compliance updates and sharing best practices with teams across the organization
  • Identifying opportunities to educate customers about content guidelines and texting responsibly, working hand-in-hand with support teams
 Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring messages containing disallowed content are not released, and suspicious accounts have the appropriate actions taken
  • The ability to assess message/account reviews holistically, considering immediate risks and long-term impacts to the business
  • Effective communication skills, enabling you to work with team members and leaders across the organization relating to compliance/fraud/spam concerns and opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
  • Critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to drive improvements
  • A positive attitude and self-motivation, with a continuous desire to develop and adapt to a growing team
  • Familiarity with live chat, customer ticketing platforms, and CRM platforms
