Job Title:

Finance Business Partner Manager

Job Purpose:

The Section Manager for Finance Business Partners plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the finance department and key business units. This strategic link provides financial insight, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive financial results.

This role will oversee financial analysts and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align financial planning with business strategy, ensuring financial objectives are met and promoting continuous improvement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Analysis: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports and relevant financial analysis.
  • Quality Check: Review output of planning analysts – reports, budgets, etc.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement functional strategies for the planning group.
  • Training and Development: Provide directions and assistance to financial analysts for more detailed and relevant analysis and assistance to brands and channels.
  • Collaboration: Work with channel and brand heads for reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in conducting periodic needs analysis and business process reviews to design, develop, and implement new and improved systems of reporting, controlling, and financial analysis.
  • Support to Top Management: Support top management with various planning, budget, forecasting, financial analysis, ratio analysis, and reporting tools and reports.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Provide support to other departments in analyzing proper accounting treatment of transactions.
  • Long-Term Planning: Assist in the development of long-term financial planning and annual budgeting processes.
  • Productivity Enhancement: Support efforts to automate the financial reporting process to improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years' experience in financial planning (MBA preferred but not required).
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead the compilation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of complex annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to relate to all levels in the organization.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
