Senior Utility Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Engineer to join our team.

This role requires expertise in leading detailed inspections of overhead infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to process improvements. As part of the electric utility sector, the ideal candidate will have experience in leading inspections, performing advanced data analysis, and overseeing QA/QC processes.

  • Lead complex inspections of overhead utility infrastructure to identify faults and hazards.
  • Perform advanced data analysis to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for work packages and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to process improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and good written/oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of NESC, national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.
