Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and accessibility for remote and office environments.

This position requires strong technical expertise in firewall settings, VPNs, and Linux OS flavors (Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8; Ubuntu).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to multiple applications.
  • Develop and implement IT projects, including proposal development, design, and reporting via JIRA and email.
  • Partner with DevOps/support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows administration, including current releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Server versions (2008/2012); Remote Desktop.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including static routing and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of IT automation tools, such as Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading IT teams and working with development groups.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure maintenance, monitoring tools, and bug tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of server configuration tools, monitoring software, and configuration management technologies.
