Job Title: Business Information Systems Assurance Professional

Our organization seeks a seasoned Business Information Systems Assurance Professional to deliver independent, objective assurance and consulting audit services. This esteemed role demands exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The successful candidate will identify and evaluate significant exposures to risk, contributing to the improvement of risk management and control systems. They will also evaluate risk exposures, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls related to governance, operations, and information systems.

  • Evaluate electronic data processing fundamentals and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate results of assurance and consulting engagements, providing actionable recommendations for process improvements.

This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, as well as advanced knowledge of computer software applications currently in use by our organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong IT process improvement skills, working knowledge of international auditing standards, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing effective controls to mitigate risk.
  • Providing expert guidance on system development life cycle (SDLC) reviews.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BS in Accounting or Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience as Business Information Systems Assurance Professional, including at least 1 year IT Audit experience.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint).
  • Sufficient knowledge to identify/detect indications of fraud.
Skills
  • Strong IT process improvement skills.
  • Working knowledge of international standards for the professional practice of internal auditing.
  • Good communication skills.
