As a Security Operations Center Analyst, your primary goal will be to ensure timely detection, escalation, and mitigation of security threats. Your responsibilities will include investigation of security incidents, development of processes for security monitoring and response, and hunting for suspicious activities.

  • Crisis Communication Planning for Security Incidents
  • Data Asset Owner Communication for Business Response Plans
  • Compliance Audit Support (including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type II)
  • Maintenance of SOC Team Performance Metrics (SLAs and KPIs)
  • Contribution to the Effectiveness of SOC Processes
  • Containment during Security Incidents
  • Tuning of Existing Use Cases for Improved Accuracy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with System Logs and their Significance
  • Enthusiasm and Interest in Information Security
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills with Effective Communication
  • Preferred Hands-on Experience in Security Operations Center
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Information Security or Equivalent Education
  • Experience with SOC Teams and Processes
  • Knowledge of SOC Best Practices
  • Strong Knowledge of SIEM and EDR Monitoring Incident Management
  • Firewall Monitoring and Incident Management Knowledge
  • Cloud Monitoring Incident Management Knowledge
  • DLP Alerts Monitoring Knowledge
  • Network Technologies, Windows, and Linux Operating Systems, Web Application Technologies, and Cloud Technology Foundations
  • Threat Hunting and Forensic Analysis Knowledge
  • Risk Management Skills
  • Vulnerability Management Skills (Optional)

Education/Certifications:
