Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our budgeting, reporting, and analytical processes. Our cutting-edge payment processing solution is complemented by a financial reporting platform designed to match.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and refining divisional and corporate budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts, as well as developing regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations for finance, accounting, and management. Furthermore, they will provide critical support to the finance team in modeling and analyzing products, acquisitions, and financings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, with business analysis experience considered advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement production and/or analysis.
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure.
  • Exceptional communication skills in written, spoken, and visualization mediums.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical teams.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Working towards or having completed a financial designation (CPA, CFA, etc.) is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with budgeting & reporting software is considered beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the inner workings of the payments ecosystem is highly desirable.
