Mid-Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The ideal candidate will have a background in IT and 5+ years of experience analyzing business challenges, mapping processes, and identifying business requirements.

They will also be able to deliver high-quality user stories, business, functional, and non-functional requirements, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit analysis and validate business processes, systems, and requirements.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required for this role.
  • A strong understanding of UML diagrams, SDLC, and delivery frameworks is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Jira, and Confluence is expected.
  • Experience with project documentation and working independently is preferred.

The successful candidate will be a promoter of the organization's culture and values and collaborate with designers, developers, and QA teams to develop effective strategies and test plans.

  • Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing system specifications, working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and closing collaboration with Product Managers, Project Managers, and SMEs to clarify scope and requirements.
  • They will also assess the impact of proposed solutions on existing processes, workflows, policies, and procedures and create and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage Jira boards and facilitate scrum meetings.

This is a full-time position following the 9 AM to 6 PM Manila schedule.

About The Role

We're seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst who has a background in I.T. and 5+ years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

They will be able to analyze complex business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations for process improvements.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, managing Jira boards, and facilitating scrum meetings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Excel, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience with project documentation and working independently
