Job Overview

The Freelance Peer Reviewer will assess the originality and value of academic manuscripts, ensuring they contribute new insights to their field.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess Novelty: Evaluate whether the manuscript adds new knowledge or insights to the field.
  • Evaluate Study Design and Methodology: Assess the appropriateness and comprehensiveness of the study design and methods.
  • Literature Review: Check if the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyse Results and Conclusions: Evaluate the clarity and appropriateness of the results and conclusions.
  • Providing Constructive Feedback: Provide suggestions for improvement and highlight any flaws or concerns.
Requirements
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
