About the Role

Product Development Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth product development lifecycle. This includes managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure profitable partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Product Development and strong analytical skills. They will also be able to work closely with the product development team to source new suppliers, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for new or existing projects
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct cost and margin analysis using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including all direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management
  • Packaging Development: Collaborate with internal designers and external suppliers to develop packaging solutions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Development
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in Financial Analysis and Data Analysis using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders
  • Proactiveness and critical thinking
