Senior Financial Professional Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team. This is a key role for an individual with a strong foundation in US GAAP and hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain and reconcile financial data, and support accounts payable and receivable functions. They will also prepare reports, assist with tax filings and compliance documentation, and provide audit support.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting using QuickBooks.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant financial records, ensuring adherence to U.S. accounting standards.
  • Support the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Develop and submit reports, including tax filings and compliance documentation, to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to optimize accounting workflows and streamline financial operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proven experience using QuickBooks in a professional setting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
