Financial Operations Specialist

This is a challenging role requiring a high degree of analytical skill, organizational ability and effective communication.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, tax compliance and regulatory affairs. They should be proactive, able to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify vendor invoices for compliance with tax and reporting requirements, ensuring proper coding and consistent accounting practices.
  • Compile and prepare necessary documents for valid transaction recharging to customers.
  • Ensure the completeness and validity of tax compliance substantiation by verifying vendors' certificates, customer certificates, and company-issued certificates.
  • Prepare and submit Compliance reports (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual) for relevant authorities.
  • Support the Financial Manager in meeting stakeholders' needs, including government authorities, shareholders, vendors, etc.
  • Monitor government pronouncements affecting tax compliance.
  • Maintain liaison with government offices.
  • Administer tax compliance functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings and payments.
  • Align business operations and procedures with statutory regulations and internal/external policies.
  • Prepare monthly cost recharge reports for customers, including supporting documents.
  • Liaise with tax authorities on submissions, inquiries, advisory services, audits, or inspections.
  • Maintain and ensure proper documentation for tax records and correspondences.
  • Monitor and assess tax updates to identify areas for improvement in company operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in financial management, tax compliance, and regulatory affairs are highly desirable.
