As a pivotal figure in our development team, you will be responsible for crafting, maintaining, and refining the software behind our platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing new features/software products while enhancing/maintaining existing ones.
  • Conducting quality assurance testing on your work and that of others to ensure the reliability of our products
  • Reviewing code submissions, asking clarifying questions, providing constructive guidance, and upholding a healthy codebase.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of software projects while adhering to established standards.
  • Continuously expanding your technical knowledge and sharing insights with the team.
  • Assisting in diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolution strategies.

We seek an accomplished Java developer with at least 5 years of experience in software development, encompassing frontend, backend, and DevOps. Proficiency in Java frameworks, especially Spring and Spring Boot is required.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proficiency in front-end development tools and frameworks, including Vanilla JS and React.
  • Competency in Object-Oriented Design, functional programming, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures (e.g., microservices) and deployment tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker).
  • Has experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.

Additional requirements include:

  • Willingness to collaborate with legacy code.
  • Knowledgeable about current and emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience in software development projects.
  • Skilled in system-level design, web services, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (unit and integration testing).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
