Payroll and Benefits Operations Director

The Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Senior Manager to oversee payroll operations and benefits administration for a workforce of 9,000 full-time employees (FTEs). This high-impact role requires managing a team of 21 direct reports and ensuring seamless, compliant, and efficient payroll and benefits processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end payroll and benefits operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Oversee payroll processes, including computation, disbursement, and tax compliance.
- Manage government-mandated and company-initiated benefits administration, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Optimize payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 21 payroll and benefits professionals.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory guidelines.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align payroll and benefits strategies with company objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in payroll and benefits management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale payroll operations for 1,000 to 3,000 FTEs or more.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
