**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. As a Power BI Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing data-driven solutions that support business intelligence and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build Data Models: Create efficient and scalable models that align with business requirements using Star and Snowflake schema models for data modeling.
  • Utilize DAX and Power Query: Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Develop Interactive Dashboards and Reports: Use Power BI Desktop to create visually compelling and user-friendly reports that present trends, patterns, and key insights.
  • Present Complex Insights: Communicate complex data insights in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Familiarity with Data Modeling: 2 or more years experience in data-focused roles, familiarity with integrating Power BI with Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric items.
  • Strong Command of DAX and Power Query: Skilled in documenting data flows, source-to-target mappings, and data dictionaries.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical audiences.
