This is a full-time position, working remotely as a Bookkeeper for an established company in the beauty industry.

About the Role
  • Financial Management: Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, payments, and scheduling to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Accounting Operations: Assist in maintaining financial stability, confidence, and transparency for the organization's growth.
Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Setup & Compliance: Set up new vendors, collect W-9 forms, reconcile vendor statements, and protect confidential information.
  2. Invoice Processing: Review invoices, perform 3-way matching, ensure proper GL coding, enter invoices, resolve discrepancies, and apply credits.
  3. Payments & Scheduling: Maintain payment schedule, track and manage billings and payments for accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Communication & Support: Collaborate with internal teams and provide support as needed.
  5. Accounts Receivable: Apply payments to invoices, verify deductions and credits, retrieve remittance advice, and maintain AR records.
  6. Reconciliation & Record-Keeping: Regularly reconcile AR accounts, maintain accurate records, and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Monitoring & Reporting: Review AR aging, monitor unapplied payments, and prepare customer statements as needed.
Requirements
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Experience: Background as an Accounting Specialist, Bookkeeper, A/R or A/P Specialist.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with accounting platforms and Excel/Google Sheets; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: High accuracy and precision are essential.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear, professional collaboration across teams is required.
