Software Engineering Leader

A successful Software Engineering Leader is responsible for driving technical execution and delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Execution & Delivery
    • Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical prioritization to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
    • Drive a consistent and high-quality development process across multiple engineering squads.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate strategic goals into executable engineering work.
    • Identify and resolve architectural or technical debt issues.
  • Team Management
    • Manage and support a team of software engineers, creating an environment where they can do their best work.
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide timely feedback and coaching.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and technical implications.
    • Provide visibility into engineering progress, risks, and constraints.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in engineering management.
  • Strong technical background in modern web development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Golang, React).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, IaC).
  • Experience working in high-velocity teams that ship iteratively while maintaining high standards.
