Operations Leadership Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior operations leader.

About the Role:

The Operations Unit Head will oversee the management of our Head Office Operations Unit, comprising Cashiering, Remittance, Adjustment, and Endorsement, as well as Production Reconciliation. This role will also collaborate with the IT team to coordinate testing and implementation of fixed and enhancements of the core system. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, clarifying, and preparing business requirements, coordinating UAT, implementing, and post-implementation of Comptrollership and Operations system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the Head Office Operations Unit effectively.
  • Coaches and guides Section Heads and Team Heads in managing their teams.
  • Works with Section and Team Heads to define KRA targets and allocate resources to meet those targets.
  • Address business requirements and develop members of their teams to advance in their careers.
  • Identify process and system enhancements to improve performance and efficiency.
Collaboration with Business Units and IT:
  • Work with Comptrollership and Operations stakeholders and IT on system enhancements, including business requirements and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a resource for system issues and collaborate with stakeholders and IT to diagnose and resolve them.
  • Prepare business requirements for identified system enhancements and assist stakeholders in projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree holder.
  • Extensive experience in Insurance Operations.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
