About This Opportunity

This position involves developing the user interface for our website as a front-end WordPress developer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop web applications adhering to best practices.
  • Transform app designs into reusable front-end code using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications based on technical requirements or UX design.
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
  • Manage on-site SEO.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience developing modern websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working on at least 5 websites, links to sample works requested.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Experience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Basic proficiency in Figma.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards.
