We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality front-end solutions using modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

They will work closely with the lead developer to implement complex builds and solve technical challenges as part of a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clean and efficient front-end code that meets industry standards.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and Shopify builds using ACF and modular CSS/JS.
  • Build React-based front-end applications, including Gatsby for static and hybrid websites.
  • Translate designs and requirements into maintainable and performant code.
  • Apply advanced site optimisation techniques to ensure accessibility, responsive behaviour, and SEO best practices are consistently applied.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
  • Strong ability to hand-code solutions rather than rely heavily on plugins.
  • Advanced experience with custom WordPress theme development and Shopify builds.
  • Solid experience with React, including building projects in Gatsby or similar.
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processors like SCSS and building maintainable design systems.
  • Proficiency in integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data.
  • Skilled in optimising websites for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
