We are seeking a skilled Database Optimization Specialist to optimize and refactor complex SQL queries and views in Microsoft SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Query Optimization: Refactor and optimize complex SQL queries and views for performance and readability
  • SQL Code Analysis: Analyze and improve existing SQL code for efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
  • Error Resolution: Diagnose issues using SQL Server execution plans and recommend indexing strategies
Requirements:
  • Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer with expertise in query optimization and database design
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL window functions, CTEs, and query optimization techniques
  • Additional Skills: Experience refactoring deeply nested SQL views or complex subqueries, ability to read and interpret execution plans, and knowledge of Power BI or Tableau

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
