Job Summary

We are seeking a registered nurse with clinical expertise to work as an underwriter. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing health benefit plans and assessing risks associated with client loss.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, requiring the individual to have excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret medical information. The role involves developing comparative benefit packages, reviewing claim experience, and applying underwriting guidelines to prepare renewal and/or prospect rates.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, and any directives related to work location, team assignments, and flexibility of work arrangements.
  • Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and assess risks around loss of clients.
  • Develop comparative benefit packages, review claim experience, and apply underwriting guidelines to prepare renewal and/or prospect rates.
Requirements
  • Active license as a registered nurse (PHRN)
  • At least 3 years of hospital or clinical experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Solid medical/clinical knowledge to interpret available medical information
  • Able to work in Quezon City
