We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our security and compliance initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success by ensuring seamless integration of security protocols across various platforms.

Our ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of Type 1 and Type 2 SOC 2 audits, as well as other relevant security controls.
  • Direct daily operations of a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into existing workflows.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and regulatory developments, applying this knowledge to drive organizational excellence.
  • Work seamlessly with compliance platforms like Drata, Vanta, and SecureFrame to drive results-oriented outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing small teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance programs, with a strong understanding of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying technical controls in cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and autonomy.
  • Flexibility to work within US Eastern Time zone hours.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience conducting security awareness training programs.
  • Familiarity with additional compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
